What the 2D replay shows
Not a summary of the round — the round. Every player where they were, every grenade where it went, drawn over the real map and timed to the tick it happened on.
- Every round at a glance. A scoreboard of who is still alive and a timeline marked with every kill, grenade and plant. Each round's tab shows how it was won before you open it.
- Utility with real timers. Smokes bloom and thin out, molotovs spread and burn down, and each one counts down where it landed. Grenades fly the path they actually flew.
- Flashes, per player. Which players a flash blinded and for how long, counting down over each of them — the number the game used.
- The bomb, end to end. Who carried it, where it was dropped, the 40-second fuse running down as a ring, and a defuse that shows whether it beats the clock while it is still happening.
- Both floors at once. Nuke, Vertigo and Train show the upper and lower levels side by side; zooming and dragging move them together.
- The economy. What both sides bought, spending itself down as the utility gets thrown — so "do they still have a smoke for this retake" has an answer.
- Follow one player. Lock onto anyone and watch the round from their position, with every shot drawn as a tracer.
- Review at your pace. Drop to quarter speed, step round by round, or click a kill on the timeline to land a second before it.
- Draw on it. Freehand lines and straight arrows on any round, for pointing at the thing you are talking about on a call.
- A real scoreboard. Kills, deaths, ADR and headshot percentage, not just K/D.
From a CS2 demo to a player's homework
-
Upload the .dem
From a scrim, an official, a FACEIT or matchmaking game. It parses in the background, so you can close the tab and come back to it.
-
Find the round
The round tabs say how each one was won, and the timeline marks every kill and grenade, so the retake you lost is two clicks away rather than ten minutes of scrubbing.
-
Assign it
Pick who needs to watch it and what to look for. It lands in their training, and their link opens the replay sitting on that round.
-
See it from their seat
On Pro, with the POV recorder, one button opens every player's own recording at that moment, with the comms.
Every map, redrawn
The replay draws on its own map art — Ancient, Anubis, Dust2, Inferno, Mirage, Nuke, Overpass, Train, Vertigo and Cache, each redrawn in one clean style that stays sharp when you zoom in and keeps the players readable on top of it.
It runs in the browser, so the analyst on a laptop and the player on a phone open the same round from the same link. Nothing to install and no demo file to pass around.
The 2D replay is in every plan. Starter includes 5 demos a month; Team and Pro are unlimited.
Questions
Which demos can I upload?
Any CS2 .dem file — a scrim, an official, a FACEIT or matchmaking game. If it downloaded compressed, extract the .dem first. Parsing runs in the background, so you can upload it and close the tab.
Is the 2D replay in every plan?
Yes. Starter includes 5 demos a month; Team and Pro are unlimited, and Pro demos go to the front of the queue when it is busy.
Does it work on Nuke, Vertigo and Train?
Yes. The upper and lower levels are shown side by side in one view, and zooming or dragging moves both together, so nobody disappears down a ladder.
Can I draw on the replay?
Yes — freehand lines and straight arrows in a few colours on any round, for pointing at the thing you are talking about while you review it with the team.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The replay runs in the browser on any computer. The Windows recorder is a separate, optional app that adds each player's own POV and the team's comms.
